Nahj Al-Balagah sermon 80 "Physical defects of women&am
Hi,
My question is about the Nahj al Balagah (peak of eloquence), which is a collection of saying by Hazrat Ali (a.s.) What do you make of the following:
O' ye peoples! Women are deficient in Faith, deficient in shares and deficient in intelligence. As regards the deficiency in their Faith, it ...

Sacred Mosque to the farthest Mosque
Ya Ali Madad,
I was reading about the story of mir'aj, the ascent of the Holy Prophet (sas) to heaven. Those following a more esoteric interpretation of Islam understand that this ascent happend in an spiritual rather then and material way. The soul of the Holy Prophet was elevated to the point ...

Some more questions.
Hello, Maybe you have alraigdy figured it out, but I am very active on other muslim but non-Ismaili forums. People there know I'm Ismaili and sometimes they ask questions I cannot answer. Thats why I come here, so that a more knowlegdable Ismaili brother may help me.
So again, today, someone asks ...

The concept of the last Imam in Ismailism
Ya Ali Madad,
Does any one know what the Ismaili concept of the last Imam is in Ismailism? Other shia muslims believe in an Imam Mehdi who will return near the day of judgment. But what should our view on this issue be?
I know some ginans deal with this issue. But I can't remember which ones.

A non-Ismaili askes about certain passages from the old dua
A non-Ismaili somehow got this link from somewhere; http://www.ismaili.net/Source/hbibi1.html
I would first of all like to ask who this document wrote. A lawyer? Was it approved my Mawlana Sultan Muhammad Shah?
Second; a part of the old khoja dua can be read from here;
Having said the above ...

DAM HAME DAM ALI ALI, by Rumi?
Hi,
The qasida "dam hame dam Ali Ali" is atributted to Mawlana Rumi. That evidence is there that Rumi actually wrote this? The only place I can find this Qasida is on Ismaili sites. There is just not more information about this Qasida.

<t>In my opinion, the basic understanding of faith that childeren should have, has to come from parents. They should teach love for prophet Muhammad (saw) and his ahlul-bait (which includes mowlana Hazir Imam) . The meaning of the Dua' , ginans and understanding of the rites and rituals in jamat ...

As pointed out before, the farman our Lord mowlana Hazir Imam is the Quran. As Nabi Muhammad (saw) said him self, the Quran is with Ali (as) and Ali (as) is with the Quran, and they wil not get sepperated until the Day of Judgment (see Ibn Hajar by al-Sawaiq al muhriqah, p.123, for example) . And ...
