Marhaba Mawla Rahim | From Nova Scotia | Canada Padhramni Special 2026 | Young Homie | JollyGul

"Marhaba Mawla Rahim" is a joyful bilingual (Farsi-Urdu) welcome song celebrating Mawla Rahim’s visit to Canada. Set against the dramatic Atlantic scenery of Peggy's Cove Lighthouse in Nova Scotia, the video features Central Asian and Garba-style group dancing.

The ocean, lighthouse, and granite shoreline create a powerful visual symbol of guidance, light, and arrival, while dancers celebrate together in gratitude, unity, and happiness as the community welcomes their beloved Mawla to Canada.

PLAN YOUR VISIT
ACCESS WRISTBANDS

Image

This page is applicable for members residing in Ontario, Quebec & Maritimes regions, who are registered to attend the Canada Visit taking place from March 25 to 31, 2026.

For members residing in Western Canada, additional information regarding registration validation and the issuance of Access Wristbands will be shared once details of the Western Canada Visit are announced.

WHAT IS VALIDATION

Validation is an in-person process required to confirm your identity, residency, and eligibility to attend the Canada Visit.

VALIDATION PROCESS & ACCESS WRISTBANDS PICK-UP

1. Notification for In-Person Validation

Validation and issuance of Access Wristbands for members residing in Eastern Canada will begin Thursday, March 12.

Within your Canada Visit Registration profile, please ensure that each household member has a picture uploaded and that their registration status reads ‘Awaiting Validation’, which indicates that your registration has been successfully submitted.

2. Visit the Registration Care Desk

To complete validation, visit the Registration Care Desk at your Primary Jamatkhana.

You must present original, valid government-issued identification documents for verification against the information submitted during registration. Please review the documentation requirements outlined below.

A designated adult household member may complete the in-person validation process on behalf of all registered household members, provided they present current, valid, and original identification and relevant documentation for each member. Please ensure that the family relationships have been established for each registered profile.

Photocopies or digital copies of identification or supporting documents will not be accepted. Exceptions will only be made for students studying out-of-province or abroad, and for members residing in long-term care facilities.

3. Receive your Access Wristband

Once your in-person validation is successfully completed, you will receive your Access Wristband(s). Each wristband contains a unique identifier which is linked to your registration profile.

The Access Wristbands are color-coded:

Gold - General Jamat
White - General Jamat with chair access
Green - Inter-faith family spouse or partner
Blue - Inter-faith family caregiver
After receiving your wristband(s), your registration status will change to ‘Wristband Allocated’, and the unique wristband ID will appear in each profile.

Please safeguard your Access Wristband(s) — they must be worn to gain entry to Didar, the Inter-Faith Gathering, and Youth Mulaqat.

IDENTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS

Each household member must present valid, current, and non-expired identification:

Primary ID: Required for each household member

Secondary ID: Required only if the Primary ID is missing one or more of the following mandatory details: full legal name, photo, date of birth, and address.

Validation for Non-Canadian Residents

For individuals who are not Canadian residents but are residing in Canada (e.g., Permanent Residents, International Students, Workers, Refugees, Visitors Visas, including Super Visas, or Residents of the United States from border towns), their status will be validated using original identification and immigration/residency documents.

If a photo ID is unavailable, verification using full legal name and date of birth will be accepted.

Super Visa or Tourist (Visitor) Visa Holders

Individuals must provide a valid passport from their home country to confirm the required six consecutive months of stay in Canada within the past 12 months.
