Global Encounters works across three domains:
Youth Leadership and Development programmes include Global Encounters Camps for high school students; international internships with AKDN institutions for university students and recent graduates; and other leadership development initiatives.
Arts, Culture & Heritage programmes offer the Jamat an opportunity to engage and create through the arts, and to learn about and experience our rich history, both virtually and through in-person travel expeditions. Global Encounters nurtures and supports artists in our Jamat through new collaborations and legacy initiatives such as Jubilee Arts and Heritage Journeys.
Sports and Fitness programmes promote physical fitness, engagement in sports and the development of athletic talent. Programmes include rich virtual and signature international programming such as the Jubilee Games, and new initiatives to support exceptional athletic talent.
