Yesterday we received the happiest news that Mawlana Hazar Imam will be visiting the Europe Jamat from 4th to 6th July. Our hearts are warmed by this historic announcement, and it feels as though time itself has paused to make space for gratitude, reflection, and overwhelming joy as we prepare to welcome this sacred moment into our lives.
With Deedar taking place in Berlin, we have an additional responsibility and privilege upon our shoulders. Murids will be travelling from across Europe to be part of this blessed occasion. Let us open our hearts, open our homes, and be living examples of kindness, generosity, and care. Whether through a warm welcome, a helping hand, guidance, hospitality, or a simple act of compassion, every gesture can make a lasting difference in someone's experience of this historic day. Mawlana Hazar Imam will undertake an official visit to Germany from 4 to 6 July 2026.
In a Talika Mubarak read in Jamatkhanas worldwide, Hazar Imam said he looks forward to meeting his Jamat that is resident in Germany and the other European countries which fall under the jurisdiction of the Ismaili Council for the United Kingdom.
Participation is limited to Jamati members who reside in Continental European countries that do not come under the respective jurisdictions of the Council for France or the Council for Portugal and who are legally permitted to travel to Germany.
To be able to focus his attention on the Jamats residing in the countries stated above, Hazar Imam does not wish members of the Jamat from other countries to travel to Germany during his visit.

As part of our beloved Mawlana Hazar Imam's visit to Germany, we're calling on all volunteers and Jamati members willing to offer their time, energy, and commitment to make this visit a historic moment for our Jamat.
You now have the opportunity to express your interest in volunteering, and so, we encourage all volunteers, uniformed and non-uniformed, first-timers and old-timers, as well as interfaith family members, to come forward and join us!
Volunteer opportunities will be available in the days leading up to the visit, the day of the visit, and post-visit.
Volunteering will be guided by our mission statement. Duties will be allocated by Jamatkhana or Gathering Space. We will make every effort to provide everyone who wishes to volunteer opportunities to do so, with the Volunteer Management System (VMS) taking into account collective availability. In line with established practice in preceding Didars, members of the Jamat and volunteers who are eligible for the Europe Visit will take precedence for all volunteering opportunities and key events, including particularly the Didar itself. As such, a separate registration wave will open at a later date for international volunteers, and they will be deployed elsewhere accordingly.

There will be a focus on conduct in the Didar Hall and the role of uniformed volunteers in this space. Training details will be shared via WhatsApp and will initially take place online, followed by in-person sessions.
Whether you can spare a few hours or a full day, your khidma will help create a space of kindness, togetherness, and unity in diversity. Every role, big or small, helps to create a meaningful, uplifting, and fulfilling experience for the Jamat. Don’t miss this historic opportunity - join us!
