Mukhiyani no samosa today.?
“Mukhyani, no samosas today?”
This question was asked by our 49th Imam to a Mukhyani during a meal. Behind it lies a touching story of a mother and daughter.
During Mawlana Shah Karim’s visit to a village in East Africa, all arrangements for his arrival were made. The next day’s lunch was scheduled to be hosted at the Mukhyani’s home, as decided by the community leaders.
The night before, a young girl asked her mother, “Can’t Hazar Imam come to our house to eat?”
Her mother gently explained, “No, dear. Meals like lunch, dinner, and breakfast are arranged in advance by the council and community leaders. Tomorrow’s lunch is at the Mukhyani’s home.”
The daughter felt a little disappointed, but what could they do?
Later that night, after all the Jamaat Khana ceremonies were completed, the Mukhyani invited Shirinbai and her daughter to help with preparations at her home the next morning. Since Shirinbai and her daughter lived alone and earned a living by helping others, they were overjoyed by the invitation.
Back home, the daughter asked, “Even if Mawla can’t eat at our house, can we at least make samosas for him and bring them?”
Shirinbai hadn’t thought of that, but not wanting to upset her daughter, she agreed. That night, mother and daughter prayed fervently, hoping Mawla would taste their samosas.
Early the next morning, they prepared about two dozen chicken samosas and brought them to the Mukhyani’s house, placing them in the fridge. They then began helping with the rest of the preparations.
Two tables were set—one for Hazar Imam and select leaders, and another for the rest of the council members. The samosas were placed on the second table, where the council members would sit. The Mukhyani didn’t know that Shirinbai had brought samosas.
When Hazar Imam arrived and began eating, he suddenly asked, “Mukhyani, no samosas today?”
The Mukhyani, surprised, replied, “No, Khudavind.”
Hazar Imam pointed to the second table and said, “But look, there are samosas there.”
(How did Mawla know? That’s the mystery of Noorani insight—the power of divine light. It was the heartfelt prayer of a mother and daughter that reached him.)
The Mukhyani looked over and saw the samosas. She happily brought them to Mawla, who tasted them and praised both the samosas and the ones who made them. Shirinbai and her daughter were overwhelmed with joy and gratitude.
After lunch, Shirinbai nervously approached the Mukhyani to apologize for bringing samosas without permission. But instead of scolding, the Mukhyani praised them: “You saved our honor today. You deserve appreciation, not apology.”
In the end, the mother and daughter’s sincere wish—that Mawla would taste something made by their hands—was fulfilled.
It’s said in one of Abu Ali’s waez that Mawlana Shah Karim loved chicken samosas. This story was shared in that waez.

My Mukhianima met Mowla Bapa. She told him that today we have Mowla Jo Rojo Majlis and that she's Mukhianima. He gave her a hug. She asked him for Du'a. He gave Du'a for the whole jamat. There was such a buzz in khane. After the run, those who were downstairs, Mowla told them, what are you doing downstairs, there's a Majlis in khane.

Amazing Chitral Incident.
It is true but details are Hear Say Very few of you may have heard about this incident which happened in Chitral during Mowlana Hazar Imam`s visit to Pakistan.
This is the gist of what happened there.
Mowlana Hazar Imam had a one day program to visit Chitral. Arriving in the morning and leaving in the evening for the next destination. As Chitral is a mountainous area, travel is difficult by Road so Helicopter ( Chopper ) is used. -
Mowlana Hazar Imam arrived in the morning – gave the Deeadar to the Jamat – Finished all Jamati work and was supposed to leave in the evening. It was little late in the evening and it was getting dark so Mowla said they should not travel. The Chopper pilot said not to worry – it was safe to fly.
But Mowla said not to travel and was determined to stay the night there.
There was a Jamati leader with Mowla and he said – Khudavind we have not made any arrangements for night stay.
So Mowla said I will sleep wherever you are going to sleep.
There was an Army Barracks near by which would be secured place so they decided to stay there.
Now here is an interesting part of the story.
Remember Hazar Imam is Akle-Kul – HE knows everything and also remember that HE always says in HIS Farmans that IMAM loves HIS murids more than they can ever love HIM.
There were many Ismailis working in the Barracks but everyone could not go for the Deedar in the morning.
About 80 murids had to stay at the barracks in the morning and they missed the Deedar.
And now Mowla was going to the barracks and when they heard the news they were really excited and over joyed. In the short time they had made all the necessary arrangements and when Mowla came they even put the khilat on Mowla and they had good Deedar.
Mowla created this situation because HE did not want any Murid to be left out.

We often expect the great leaders of the world—especially a spiritual leader guiding millions globally—to move with impenetrable walls of security, heavy entourages, and the formal distance required of high protocol. But our young energetic Imam operates on a different frequency.
On a busy Saturday—which happened to be Mother’s Day—visitors at the Sugarloaf Mills mall in Georgia had no idea they were walking alongside history. Dressed simply in jeans, a regular t-shirt, and walking shoes, a young, dignified man walked through the crowds completely alone. This was Shah Rahim , our 50th Hereditary Imam .
Without a single guard in sight, Hazar Imam walked to a local florist to pick up a bouquet.
Later that afternoon, a family friend of ours , visited the exact same florist, curious about the morning's quiet commotion.
The florist revealed a beautiful detail: the flower order hadn’t been placed locally. It had been called in all the way from Switzerland, with a simple note that "someone would come by to pick it up." The "someone" was our Imam of the time, quietly fulfilling a personal, family gesture on Mother's Day, completely devoid of pomp. While inside the mall, a few of our Ismaili members recognized him, sharing a brief, breathless moment of joy and taking a few treasured photographs before he quietly went on his way.
But the most profound impact of that day happened just a few doors down, inside a toy store owned by a Sunni Muslim named Bilal.
As Muslims, Sunnis and Shias represent different paths and traditions within the faith, but Bilal’s heart held a deep, lifelong reverence for our late Shah Karim.
For years, Bilal had looked up to him, secretly harboring a deep desire to meet him in person. When Shah Karim passed away in early 2025, Bilal felt a profound sense of grief—his lifelong wish to look into the eyes of the Imam had seemingly slipped away forever.
In his quiet grief, Bilal made a solemn, personal promise to the memory of the late Imam. He whispered, “Mawlana Shah Karim, I could never see or meet you in this life. But I make a promise to you: I will definitely meet your son.”
He had no idea how quickly, or how miraculously, that promise would be answered.
That Saturday, our Imam Shah Rahim walked into Bilal's toy store. He didn't come with an announcement or a title. He simply entered, brought his radiant presence into the space, and stood near the entrance of the shop. In that instant, Bilal realized his promise had been fulfilled. The son of the man he had revered from afar was standing right inside his store.
Bilal later shared his experience with our family friend, still visibly shaken with emotion, bringing goosebumps to everyone listening. He explained that his toy business is highly seasonal, usually only thriving for about four months out of the entire year. But the moment Prince Rahim stood at the entrance of his shop, something spiritual shifted.
"That very day, my business just boomed," Bilal said.
Overwhelmed, he went home and told his wife everything. The blessing wasn't just a fleeting moment; it became a permanent turning point. Bilal testified that from that Saturday onward, his business has continued to climb higher and higher every single day.
