The Actual Message from the UK Leaders of the Jamat (Quoted Below)
Dear Jamat,
We are deeply grateful to the entire UK jurisdiction Jamat for the wonderful contributions to the offering made to our beloved Mawlana Shah Rahim during his first visit to the UK Jamat this month, on the occasion of his first Imamat Day.
When he viewed the video here, he remarked on how wonderful it was and noted that it was creating a positive behavioural change within his Jamat. Hazar Imam was very pleased with the visit’s theme and the spirit of gratitude and kindness it generated within our Jamat, making this visit truly special.
Approximately 6,500 expressions of Shukrana were submitted in just 15 days. We invite you to view the Shukrana mosaic here (Password: gratitudemosaic) and to download the mosaic as a screensaver here.

Together, we engaged in 6,702 acts of kindness, totalling 48,305 hours. As part of the “Race to Didar,” we collectively completed approximately 250 marathons through individual and group walks and runs, coming together in the spirit of well-being and unity.
We also collected 232 stories from across our jurisdiction, which will be compiled into a book for Prince Irfan and Prince Sinan.
Above all, it was our shared intention, sincerity, and collective participation that made this offering so meaningful and heartfelt. As Hazar Imam has asked us to do in his Farmans, we have indeed expressed our faith in our everyday lives… and will, inshallah, continue.
A humble offering, from all of us, with our deepest love and devotion.
Warmest Regards,
The Jamati Institutions

Feedback sent to Leadership
Thank you. Given this communication concerns the historic first Didar of Mawlana Hazar Imam & the first Imamat Day and Didar in UK
I would respectfully like to raise several important concerns regarding both the framing and substance of this communication.
First, throughout the message the presence of the Imam-of-the-Time is repeatedly described simply as a “visit.”
Yet you know that the primary purpose and spiritual significance of this historic occasion for the Jamat was the Didar granted by Hazar Imam.
In our tradition, Didar is not merely a visit or event. It is a profound spiritual moment of prayer and worship for the Jamat. Describing this historic occasion primarily as a “visit” risks diminishing the true essence and significance of the Didar.
Secondly, it is deeply concerning that your message does not even once refer to the Imam as “Mawlana Hazar Imam.”
The complete absence of this expression in an official message about such a historic Didar raises serious concerns regarding the tone and expression of respect and reverence for the Imam.
Added to this is the continuing fact that you are withholding from the Jamat matters that belong to the Jamat, despite the guidance and Farmans of Hazar Imam. These include:
• The Farmans of the Imam
• The annotations and explanations by the Imam
• The Ismaili Constitution, as amended on 11 February 2025
• All guidance given by the Imam to leadership during this historic Didar
In your message you also refer to a “theme for this visit” which you say Hazar Imam was pleased with. Please clarify “ visit theme” and share the details.
This raises an important question: why are you still not sharing all the Farmans & the constitution with the Jamat despite Hazar Imam asking you to do so?
I would therefore respectfully ask:
1. When will the Farmans and all the Imam’s annotations be shared with the Jamat?
2. When will the updated Constitution amended on 11 February 2025 be made available to all the Jamat
3. When will all guidance given by the Imam during this historic Didar be shared with the Jamat?
I would also remind you that I am still waiting for acknowledgment of my earlier letter addressed to the Imam and forwarded through you, for which I have not yet received even confirmation of receipt.
Jamati institutions in the United Kingdom are supported by full-time communications and media teams, as well as access to scholars and educators through ITREB and the Institute of Ismaili Studies. With such resources available, one would naturally expect official communications to accurately reflect the spiritual significance of Didar and to refer appropriately to the Imam as Mawlana Hazar Imam.
For the benefit of reflection, I have therefore included below an example of how such a historic communication might have been framed. Do you agree? If not please advise and reasons.
With prayers for the continued unity, strength, and spiritual progress of the Jamat.
Ya Ali Madad.

Example of a Message Reflecting the Spiritual and Historical Significance of the Occasion of a First Didar and First Imamat Day to all Murids
My dear spiritual brothers and sisters,
Ya Ali Madad.
This month marked a truly historic and deeply blessed moment for the Jamat in the United Kingdom, as we were granted the immense privilege of the first Didar of Mawlana Hazar Imam on the occasion of his first Imamat Day.
For every murid, Didar is a profound spiritual prayer and blessing — a moment of grace in which we renew our bond of love, devotion, and bay’ah to the Imam-of-the-Time.
This first Didar following Mawlana Hazar Imam’s accession to the Imamat will forever remain a historic milestone for the Jamat in the United Kingdom.
In preparation for this special occasion, the Jamat across the jurisdiction came together in a spirit of gratitude, unity, and service to offer expressions of shukrana to Mawlana Hazar Imam.
More than 6,500 expressions of gratitude were shared by murids, and over 6,700 acts of kindness were undertaken across the country, representing more than 48,000 hours of service.
These acts reflect the ethics of generosity, compassion, and service that Mawlana Hazar Imam has consistently encouraged in his guidance and Farmans.
Members of the Jamat also participated in walks and runs across the country in a symbolic “Race to Didar,” collectively completing the equivalent of approximately 250 marathons, reflecting unity, well-being, and devotion.
When Mawlana Hazar Imam viewed the Jamat’s offering, he expressed appreciation for the sincerity, gratitude, and spirit demonstrated by his murids.
This historic Didar reminds us of the immense privilege of being murids of the Imam-of-the-Time and of our responsibility to uphold and live by the Farmans of the Imam.
With prayers for the continued barakat, guidance, and protection of Mawlana Hazar Imam.
If a response is received it will be posted too.
