I wonder if one fine day God turns up and asks me, "What have you done with all the wealth, knowledge and wisdom that I have given you?" I don't want to be left blank and poker-faced. I tell myself that I should be able to answer the question; as a truthful person I should be confident when I say, I tried to serve the cause – help people to the best of my ability, who are less privileged than me –which you have sent me.
When I see people suffering around me, I always think that God has sent me here to serve them, to help them in whichever way I can. When I see that I have money at my disposal, I ask myself why has the Almighty given it all to me. God has given me this to help others.
I think I can connect to people and understand them. If that is not the case, then I can't share their feelings and I can't work. People often ask me how it is that so many interesting things happen to me. To which I say that life is an ongoing journey where you meet different people and each interaction is unique and an experience in itself. These touch you and sometimes even change you. If you are sensitive to them and can collate your observations, you will see your life too is a vast storehouse of stories. I have penned my experience in my book titled Old man and His God. In it, I share experiences that have had an impact on me and set me thinking and, at times, added something to me.
It's a fast-paced world and people yearn for materialistic pleasures. But if you ask me, I feel that materialism never brings happiness. After possessing materialistic wealth, you might feel happy, but that happiness is not going to stay for long. It will vanish soon.
I feel happiness is a state of mind and is something that can't be borrowed; it comes from what you do – whatever you can to the best of your abilities – and enjoying what you do. For me, my work is everything. It's my canvas that God has given, and I enjoy it. A question that keeps coming to my mind is whether spirituality and materialism can go hand in hand. Or, in other words, does one need to put life on hold and search for happiness outside the confines of our daily existence? I would say, it's a personal matter; it's a matter of one's beliefs. I believe in God and pray regularly, even if it is for five minutes. But if you ask what is God like, I can't answer. I feel God is beyond anyone's imagination.

How I will recognize Allah
Ya Ali Madaad and Eid Mubarak,
I wonder how I will recognize its God. Yes how I will recognize God? If God is in front saying to you “I am The One your looking for” “Verily I am thy Lord!” in short How did Prophet Moses knew it is Allah who is calling Him (Q 20:12) “verily I am thy Lord! Therefore (in My presence) put off thy shoes: thou art in the sacred valley Tuwa.”
Human intelligence separate them from other Creations but it sometimes act as a barrier and resist from accepting a certain belief, I am not sure its matter of personal belief to believe what you Hear or See that its the same what you feel in your heart… if Allah comes as Noor to me I accept it is Allah but if Allah come as a Voice to me How will I accept without seeing? One need a Divine Vision to see Allah but how if one has Divine Ears how to trust the voice is of Allah if your heart accept and your mind resists?

Ya Ali Madad Zubair,
Pir Sadardin says in the following verse of a ginan:
jeere vaalaa pad mugateenaa sarave saadh leennaa(n)
to sat cheet aana(n)d - re vaalaa
kahe gur sohodev amane sree haree maleeyaa
jem saritaa saayar maa(n)he samaannee - re vaalaa....5
O loved ones, all the saints (devoted souls) will attain the exalted rank of freedom which contains the experience of the Truth, Consciousness and Joy (sat chit anand). The Guide Sohdev (Peer Sadardeen) says: "we have attained the Lord in the manner of small rivers meeting and blending with the ocean".
The experience of God (Truth) is something that is not alien to the soul. As MHI tells us in his Baitul Khayal farmans, when you will have the experience, you will know it and there will be no doubt about that.
As Pir Sadardin tells us in the above verse, the experience of truth (Sat - which he had himself) is accompanied by a clear 'intellectual' insight (Chit) and Joy (Anand). In the experience of the Truth, there is harmony between the intellect and the heart.
The first encounter between a soul and God usually takes expression in the form that he/she is most familiar with; for example a Christian would have an experience of the vision of Christ, a Hindu would have the experience of the vision of Lord Krishna etc. As the devotee continues with the spiritual journey, his experiences will be more 'refined' in confirmity with his changed metaphysical outlook - the ultimate form being undescribable.
The following verses of ginans allude to the vividness of the experience.
ejee saamee raajo aave ja(n)gee ddhol vajaave
chaudeese chaa(n)ddhrudde hu-aa
When the Lord the Master will arrive, the drums of the army will beat
and all the four directions will be radiant with the Light of the Moon
(the Imaam).
eji maahaare lagan shaahnaa punam cha(n)ddhr,
shaah nee utar kha(n)dd maa(n)he jot jaagevaa ho jire bhaai...3
O momins: This great day(or occasion) of the Lord's wedding shines like the full moon when the Light of the Lord shines in the north continent (the forehead - the uppermost part of the physical body ), O dear brother.

How I will recognize Allah
Mowla Ali Madaad,
Thanks Munir for being up this subject...
Karim thanks for your reply, this is exactly I was telling my friend who is a Non Ismaili; she understood my feeling like u… It too personal to go beyond this point but at the movement I don’t have any other Material Source then ismaili.net so I want take a step forward for the sake of learning to understand my next step, may be u can help me, its important because I have to make a decision… I posted similar topic but it was deleted by Admin, Admin if my subject can’t be accept for discussion then i request please kindly let my posting be online for at least two days then delete it so that if someone wants they can reply me!
I was lucky to hear voice and listen to Baitul Khayal Farmans same day, I think Allah made my personality this way that I don’t believe anything without any proof but when I believe I don’t ask any proof just follow it, if it’s just matter to me cause My Duniya is My Deen but there is a third person in between which makes My Mind Separate from my heart and body, Although in one of my posting I wrote "if u what to see Allah in Hazar Imam then stop thinking of Profit and lose" (For example: just have to take off the Shoes like Prophet Moses did). I am Human if I were An Angle like Angle of Death or without the responsibility of this body and life around it I would have accepted The Word easily… I don’t know Ismaili terminology neither I have depth Knowledge of Ginan, no one has told me or teach me about this path it’s completely new… I feel my body accepts my feeling but mind needs proof because it knows Allah through Hazar Imam! If I see something Written on a paper or Hear something or xyz without Hazar Imam then it has a complete different experience as seeing a written statement without Hazar Imam or Heat A voice which is not familiar to Voice of Imam worries me it changes the mean of the out come, general in most cases there is a difference between Mind and Heart but in this case there is difference between my Mind and my (Heart and Body)….! I may sound confuse but I am not, I don’t I believe I alone in this path so I can’t be confuse, it’s like I had dinner just need some time to digest it…
If u can provide me with Farmans of Hazar Imam relating to the subject or Baitul Khayal or Bandagi or anything you feel can help me… Thanks My Email Id is zubair_mahamood@hotmail.com .

Ya Ali Madad,
Just a short note, as a sitting Mukhisaheb of the above mentioned majlis, those farmans are only for members of the majlis and even new converts have to wait 3 years before they can become members of this majlis.
Until you become a member, you will not have access to these farmans.

I apologise, if you think I chose this path by myself then please do read the Baitul Khayal Farman of Mowla Hazar Imam which karim has mentioned… And if u think only members have access to farman then I think u don’t have access to Mowla the way I have…. I can share last weeks Physical Dedaar of Mowla Hazar Imam in Paris with you but not online… I respect you but plz if u can’t help don’t stop me, understand our faith is based on both innernal form as well as external form…! Do you think if no one replied to my posting I can make a step forward, do u really think so… every individual has a special relationship with Imam of time I know mine so its better you know what I am trying to tell I don’t want to argue let Allah decide who is Murid or who is not…. I apologise again if I have hurt u!

you have not hurt me.
However BUK farmans of MHI are only for BUK Members only.
I believe ADMIN has stressed this a number of times, and I am sure they're on top of deleting any postings where Mandli farmans have been posted.
However, you claim to stress to want to become a fullfledged ismaili, yet seem to be eager to find any and all shortcuts.
We have a process - this process has been put in place by the IMAM of the time..on the one hand you claim to love the Imam, yet are wanting to find shortcuts.
As I told someone else, we do not have an active missionary/conversion corps. We don't go out trying to convert people, ours is an esoteric faith, we don't throw open the KIMONO to all....part of our process is making sure that someone is serious about really becoming an ismaili and it is not a starting phase...if one thinks that this is the way to salvation...than one will wait till the day of judgement to try and get admitted.
You claim to have a special/unique relationship with Imam directly, ask him for BUK farmans...not on site like this.
With Ya Ali Madad.
