United states didar central and southwest region November 5-10th
Re: United states didar central and southwest region November 5-10th
During Mowlana Shah Karim’s last visit to Houston at NRG Stadium, I saw many people — including non-Ismailis and those without entry passes — waiting outside the hall in long queues on both sides. Mowlana Hazar Imam kindly shook hands and talked with some of them, spending quite some time among them.
Regarding the car passing by, I’m not sure about that because I was inside the Deedar hall.
It will be a good ideas to call South west council they are answering call day times.

We are very excited to share accommodation details for the upcoming USA Visit for the Central USA Region Jamat.
Our volunteers have worked diligently to secure discounted hotel rates that have been pre-negotiated for your convenience. However, please note that these rates are not guaranteed to be the lowest available, as pricing may fluctuate daily.

A warm, country-folk tribute from the Texas Jamat welcoming Mawla Rahim for his Padhrami and the opening of the new Ismaili Center in Houston.

Re: United states didar central and southwest region November 5-10th
Admin and Kbhai,
It is very disappointing to see that only songs by well-known or professional singers are being accepted on this website. This is not fair and goes completely against the spirit of equality and community.
I had posted a Garbi about MHI’s Houston Padhramani just a few days ago under the same topic, and now it has been deleted without any explanation. It is no longer visible in my posts.
Why was it removed? Is it because I am not a professional singer? If this platform only promotes famous voices and ignores contributions from others, then it is following a biased and unjust policy. Every member deserves equal respect and opportunity to share their devotion and creativity.
I expect a clear explanation regarding this matter.
Your prompt and honest reply will be appreciated.

Re: United states didar central and southwest region November 5-10th
We have composed many songs in five different languages on the USA Padhramani, and they’re getting tremendous likes and views from various groups and on Facebook.
Can we share them here, Admin?
I don’t want this post deleted like my Garbi, which received an outstanding response elsewhere. It’s disappointing when genuine creative work is removed without reason.

Re: United states didar central and southwest region November 5-10th

Our beloved Mawlana Hazar Imam reminds us:
“It is our collective responsibility to be good stewards of the planet. At this crucial moment, we must all nurture and invest in solutions that can repair our planet before it is too late.”
[Mawlana Hazar Imam Shah Rahim al-Hussaini | London, October 8th 2020]
This message echoes the guidance from Mawlana Hazar Imam’s Takht-nishini farman, where he emphasized the importance of environmental stewardship and addressing climate change.
With this inspiration, we are committed to making this USA Visit an environmentally sustainable event — one that minimizes waste, conserves resources, and reflects our shared responsibility to care for creation. Each of us has a role to play in making this vision a reality. Every small change makes a big impact.
Eco-Conscious Materials
Procurement choices for the event emphasize reuse and recyclability, including recyclable paper goodie bags, 100% cotton reusable shoe bags, and rPET (recycled plastic) lanyards for all attendees and volunteers.
Plastic-Free Water
The Mulaqat will be entirely single-use-plastic-bottle-free. Each attendee will receive a reusable aluminum bottle featuring the Mulaqat logo, which can be used during the event and taken home as a keepsake. Refill stations have been newly installed at the Didar site in Houston, replacing traditional fountains and leaving behind a permanent sustainability improvement for future events. Dallas will also have refill stations available for use.
Waste Reduction
The event will feature clearly marked recycling and waste stations, with volunteers on-site to assist attendees in proper sorting and disposal. Where possible, snacks and beverages will use compostable cups and minimally processed, low-waste packaging to reduce landfill impact.
Spiritual Connection to Nature
Through this collective effort, the Jamat is encouraged to reflect on the spiritual dimension of sustainability — understanding that caring for the environment is an expression of gratitude, humility, and unity with creation. Families are invited to continue these small acts of stewardship at home, turning sustainability into a daily habit of faith and service.

Re: United states didar central and southwest region November 5-10th

What to Expect on Day of Didar
On the day of your assigned Didar, here’s what all Jamati members can expect:
- Jamati members are encouraged to arrive early, prior to their assigned Didar time.
- Jamati members, who have already picked up their Access Cards, are reminded to bring their Access Cards and Photo ID with them.
- Jamati members who have not picked up their Access Cards are encouraged to bring all documentation listed on the Access Card Page when picking up Access Cards.
- Jamati members are reminded to bring any medications they may need throughout the day.
- All Jamati members will go through airport-like security screening before entering the Didar Hall. Everyone will walk through a metal detector and pass their shoes and any belongings through a bag check. Those with medical conditions who cannot go through a metal detector will be provided reasonable accommodations and should contact ACCESS to discuss their specific situation.
- Snack bags and refillable water bottles will be provided, and while you may bring additional snacks if you wish, outside bottles are not permitted.
Information about parking, shuttles, times to arrive, etc., will be shared via Jamati announcements and The Ismaili Insight.

To maintain the sanctity and safety of Mawlana Hazar Imam’s visit, certain items are not permitted into the venues.
To ensure a smooth and efficient entry process, the Jamat is encouraged to leave these items at home where possible or store them in your vehicles. If you arrive with such items, you will be asked to exit the security line and make your own storage arrangements at your own risk, as no storage or lockers will be available on site.
We appreciate the Jamat’s understanding and cooperation in observing these guidelines.
By making appropriate arrangements in advance, we can all contribute to a safe, serene, and spiritually uplifting experience.
