Is it true that the religious ceremony Nikah of Prince Hussein was conducted by shia preacher (mowlana)?????

In our Ismaili Tariqh, is there any reference to Niqah begin mandotory? or required? or is it all optional. has there been any guidance by our Imam with regards to Niqah. Seriously, saying talak 3x or 5x and getting a divorce seems easier then anything in North America no? jokes aside. if there is any reference material..it would make a good read...personally Thanks
