Souls coming back on Earth

Well...we often hear that when the person is near to his/her earth...he tells about seeing his late relatives. Just like my grand mother saying that my chacha and my aunty has come to take her.

Recently, my cousin's son has born. His wife told that my late chacha came in her dreams and told that I am coming back.

I wanted to ask how the process work? any idea? I mean I heard that Ismailism is the last cycle. Souls who died in this mazhab should not come again.

What's actually SALVATION OF SOULS? Is it those souls get salvation who have seen the light?
