Stillbirth & Infertility

This is a very sensitive issue and I would appreciate any guidance in these matters from the Ismaili perspective.

My aunt recently had a stillborn after 9 months of pregnancy. Once day, the baby stopped breathing and it was just too late. She has taken this very hard as she feels that she is being punished by Allah but doesn't understand why? She refuses to come to khana and doesn't find any answers in our religion to help her come to peace or terms with what has happened.

I am confused myself as I don't understand why this would have happened to her when it seems like everyone else is successfully having kids. I know that she also suffered from Infertility for many years and is almost 40 years old without any children and felt this was her miracle baby until the loss of her daughter.

I would like to be able to share your thoughts and guidance with her to help her recover from this loss and help her understand that there is a reason for everything.
