نا-امید بھی امیدوں سے اُبھَر جاتا ہے،
بے-قدر بھی قدر دان بن جاتا ہے۔
بس تیری پیار بھری نظر ہو اُن پر،
انسان تو کیا — شیطان بھی فرشتہ بن جاتا ہے۔

ملے جو “در-علی” کی دھول ماتھے کو،
تو بے-نصیب کا بھی نصیب سنور جاتا ہے۔
زبان پر جو ہو “یا علی” کا پاک نام،
تو ڈوبتا ہوا صفینہ (ناؤ) بھی کنارے لگ جاتا ہے۔
